The foundation of all Rossiter System trainings: Rossiter Level 1 Head-to-Toe. You will learn techniques to cover all major areas of the body. Arm yourself with the skills to help most everyone with the most common pain/mobility/stress issues that plagues society: low back pain, sciatica, headaches, shoulder and neck issues, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, knee leg, and hip pain, injury recovery, arthritis, and MUCH more! If you are looking for effective bodywork to do that is not stressful to YOUR body, this training is for you! You will learn how to deliver all techniques with virtually no stress on your body.
Prerequisite: None.
Course Objectives:
1. Participants will identify the structure and concepts of connective tissue and how it relates to the underlying principles of the Rossiter System and recognize contra-indications for the stretches.
2. Participants will execute and practice 25-30 Rossiter Stretches using their feet to improve client flexibility, increase mobility and decrease or eliminate structural pain in a safe, consistent, record able manner while practicing better body mechanics and how to use tools (stands and poles) for safe application of the Rossiter Stretches.
3. Participants will develop an effective client-specific program based on observation, open-ended questions and client medical history and fitness level.
4. Participants will develop a coaching patter for each stretch to help clients through each technique.
Course Hours – 16 hrs.
All materials are provided for use during this training. Course fees do not include the purchase of wooden stands, mats, chairs, pads, or gripper. Wear loose comfortable clothing in layers, bring clean socks, a notebook and pen, water, and snacks.
A lunch break will be taken at an appropriate time, depending on the flow of the class.
Class size limited to 8 students due to Covid-19.
