Level 1 – Head to Toe Foundation Course
Level 1 – Head to Toe Foundations course is first of the four levels that teach you the Foundations of Rossiter Stretching techniques for Head to Toe.
Course Hours – 16 hrs

Course Objectives
By the end of this Level 1 Foundations course, you should be able to:
- Identify the structure and concepts of connective tissue and how it relates to the underlying principles of the Rossiter Stretching and recognize contraindications for the stretches.
- Execute and practice Level 1 Rossiter Stretches using your feet under Instructor supervision to improve client flexibility, increase mobility and decrease or eliminate structural pain in a safe, consistent, recordable manner while practicing better body mechanics.
- Learn how to use tools (chair, stands and poles) for safe application of the Rossiter Stretches.
- Develop an effective client-specific program based on observation, open-ended questions and client medical history and fitness level.
Participants will develop a coaching pattern for each stretch to help clients through each technique.
Each Level 1, 2, 3 & 4 course brings something new, and is designed to get you farther into the Rossiter Stretching of connective tissue work, “The Rossiter Stretching”. You must successfully complete Level 1, 2 & 3 for you to take up Level 4 Advanced Course.

Level 2 – More Power – More Techniques Foundation Course
This course represents Rossiter Stretching Level 2, second of four Levels that teach you enhanced and much more powerful Head to Toe techniques adding onto the foundations of Rossiter Stretching.
Course Hours – 16 hrs.

Course Objectives
By the end of this Level 2 course, you should be able to:
- Demonstrate the practice Rossiter Stretching techniques using your feet in a safe and consistent manner while maintaining good posture
- Identify “Gold Spots” within the connective tissue system.
- Add more dimension to techniques learned in Level 1 to improve the results you get with clients.
- Work with clients that have had back surgeries and shots, and how to undo techniques that cause a client more pain.
- Understand how tight connective tissue in the abdominal cavity can affect other areas and vice versa.
- Gain deeper insight of how observing a client’s movements and statements are critical for knowing where to go next, and when to stop the session.
- Gain a deeper understanding of the importance of walking the client after lower body techniques to balance, integrate, observe and develop a set of effective techniques tailored to specific clients’ needs.
- Demonstrate understanding and use of the Hard and Powerful, and Smooth and Easy foot
- Demonstrate competency in properly positioning a client on their side Become competent at using a pole for balance while applying appropriate weight and maintaining correct posture.
- Demonstrate more effective ways of coaching your client
- Pick up speed by integrating effective patterning of techniques that are tailored to individual client needs
- Have competency checked with your instructors and fellow students with technique calibrations
Receive in class assessment and observations from Instructor to help develop good body mechanics and effective techniques. You’ll learn the more advanced work that brings faster results.
Each Level 1, 2, 3 & 4 course brings something new, and is designed to get you farther into the Rossiter Stretching of connective tissue work, “The Rossiter Stretching”. You must successfully complete Level 1, 2 & 3 for you to take up Level 4 Advanced Course.
Level 3 Speed, Agility and Consistency – Intermediate Course helps you deliver Rossiter Stretching workouts in short bursts, and finally Level 4 More Specific – More Precise Advanced Course, you’ll learn to burrow down to the essence of the work and get it done safely, quickly, and efficiently.

Level 3 – Speed, Agility & Consistency Intermediate Course
RST Level 3 is the third in the series of four Levels that will teach you the Intermediate level of the Rossiter Stretching techniques for Speed, Agility and Consistency.
Course Hours – 16 hrs.

Course Objectives
By the end of this Level 3 course, you should be able to:
Review the structure and concepts of connective tissue and how to maximize fascial release with Rossiter Stretches utilizing the Gold Spot and a new concept involving increasing power in the stretches by learning to use the opposite side foot (OSF) where appropriate.
Practice new more powerful and specific Rossiter Stretches using your feet to more efficiently help clients get out of pain in a safe, consistent, recordable manner, while practicing better body mechanics.
Guide your clients through more progressive freestyle movement during the techniques
Learn how to use tools (stands and poles) for safe application of the Rossiter Stretches.
Demonstrate safely using more stands to maintain proper participant body mechanics while quickly directing clients for correct body alignment in new side-lying stretches
Review contraindications relative to the stretches introduced in level 3, especially with discussion of tissue response to cortisone injections and implications for a session of Rossiter Stretches.
Enhance an effective client-specific program based on observation, open-ended questions and client medical history and fitness level.

Level 4 – More Specific – More Precise Advanced Course
RST Level 4 is the last of the four Levels. Level 4 will teach you the advanced levels Rossiter Stretching techniques for getting More Specific & Precise.
Course Hours – 16 hrs.

Course Objectives
Precision skill is emphasized-gaining you more confidence and better results with your clients in less time. Continue building on previous courses with new techniques head to toe.
By the end of this Level 4 course, you should be able to:
Review the importance of the lock to fully engage connective tissue and maximize fascial release with Rossiter stretches. The various locks will be reviewed including upper body, lower body, face up, face down and standing.
Practice new more powerful and specific Rossiter Stretches using their feet to more efficiently help clients get out of pain in a safe, consistent, recordable manner, while practicing better body mechanics and how to use tools (stands and poles) for safe application of the Rossiter Stretches.
Develop an effective client-specific program based on observation, open-ended questions and client medical history and fitness level.
Practice the new & previous techniques to develop proficiency and speed.
Demonstrate mastery of techniques from Level 1-4 with a 70% proficiency on both written and practical exams.
Level 4 Course you’ll concentrate on precision – delivering Rossiter workouts safely, quickly, and efficiently. There will be a practical exam at the end of the course, and an “optional” written exam for you to take online for a small fee. With successful completion of the practical and the online exam, you will earn your “Certified” Rossiter Coach status.

Mini Courses/Events
Mini Courses
Mini Courses are designed to:
Introduce you to basic concepts of the Rossiter Stretching.
Focus on one specific area of the body, giving you pain relief, improved mobility, and preventative help.
Prerequisites: None
Mini Course Hours: 4 hrs.
Mini Events
Mini Events are specially designed as part of our community collaboration initiatives. These events can be requested and hosted by anyone. A “Certified” Rossiter Stretching Coach will conduct the event.
These events can be customized to your theme. Be it corporate events, health fairs, wellness clinics or even personal or community initiative. These events are open to all interested parties, regardless of the focus group for any specific event.

Instructor Course
RST Instructor is an intensive course ensures you have thorough understanding of the Rossiter Stretching concepts and techniques. Special emphasis is on how to manage all aspects of a workshop, helping students with correct delivery of techniques, how to pace the course, and how to be a success at being a Rossiter Instructor.
Course Hours – 40 hours.
Prerequisites
1. Minimum Level 1 – 4 Course completion over a period of last 12 months with at least one Level 1 Review.
2. Active RST Member status.
3. Understanding of all RST techniques names, techniques and able to demonstrate them.
4. Maintain a liability insurance policy that covers your activities as an instructor and must add Rossiter Stretching, LLC as an additional insured.
Course Overview
RST Instructor Course has been totally upgraded & is a very intensive 5 day course, which will ensure you have thorough understanding of RST concepts and techniques. You will review all of Level 1 – Level 4 Techniques with special emphasis is on instruction, and how to manage all aspects of a workshop, helping students with correct delivery of techniques, how to pace the course, and how to succeed at being a RST Instructor. These reviews and instruction would be first 4 days of course with the 5th day being testing and Audit for you to graduate as RST Level 1 instructor. You will also be trained on the online tools, which enables our instructors to leverage teaching tools, publish their courses, promote themselves and manage their students etc.
Upon successful completion of first 4 days of this course, there will be a practical review (Level 1 Audit), and an written exam for you to take online. With successful completion of the practical review and the online exam along with RST Teacher Trainers recommendation you will earn your Advanced Certified RST Coach, and RST Level 1 Instructor status.
Post Certification, you will be required to co-teach your first two courses, along with one existing RST Instructor. This model will be detailed during the course and will help you get started. You will complete a minimum of 4 courses per year to maintain your certification. RST instructor certification gets renewed every 3 years. After first year you will have an opportunity to get audited for Level 2 and subsequently for Level 3 and then Level 4.

Private Training
Private training is now available for one-on-one instruction in any of Rossiter Stretching Levels 1-4. The fee starts at $60/hour and can be scheduled at your convenience with a qualified instructor. To demonstrate your proficiency or schedule private training, please fill out the request online and we will contact you to set up a convenient time.
Rossiter Stretching’s Private Training Terms
- Private training may only be booked in 2 hour increments. Any training that requires more than 2 hours of education/consulting must be planned at least two weeks in advance.
- If the student cancels more than 48 hours prior to the lesson, he or she will have the opportunity to reschedule the training session and will not be charged. However, if a private training session is cancelled within 24 hours, or a student does not arrive for the lesson within 15 minutes of the start time, no refund will be issued under any circumstances.
- Refunds are given only at program coordinator discretion.
- Rossiter Stretching makes no guarantees that the private training will allow a member to complete their learning objectives. Availability of training and scheduling is subject to change, with notice, at any time.
- RST reserves the right to deny a request for private training due to resource constraints, lack of technical expertise, or safety concerns.
- All requested training must adhere to local laws, safety regulations and Rossiter Terms and Conditions.
